Phil and I got married on August 29, 2009. Shortly after Phil graduated with a degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University. He was 23 and I was 19. We then spent almost a year living in Phil's parent's basement while Phil searched for a job. Lucky for us Phil graduate just in time for the Market to fall out from under us. That was obviously not the plan but we made the best of it.
In May 2010 Phil finally landed his first Job as a Project Engineer on a hospital renovation in Odessa Texas. We purchased of our first house in June 2010.
It was a tiny little starter home that needed a ton of work and we where just the people to do it!
While in that home Dexter our amazing little puppy wondered into our lives.
At the end of the his project Phil was promoted and with another relocation we were in an apartment in Austin Texas in January of 2011.
After a very short stay in the apartment we moved into our second home in Kyle, Texas March of 2011.
Lorelei was born at home on April 29, 2012 at 10:38 AM. She weighed 8 lbs 2 ounces.
We celebrated many first in that home with Lorelei including the best one, her first birthday!
But Phil was given another promotion making him a Project manager at 27! With the promotion came the next relocation. We are now located in Savannah Texas which is a suburb of Dallas.
We moved in, in October of 2013 and have already started putting our Burdine touches on the place. Just like with our other two house, this includes a lot of yellow paint.
